We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this website and when you make a booking.

What data we process

When you book, we process your name, email address and phone number, the chosen sailing and number of people, and your booking reference.

Payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not receive full card details; those are processed by the payment provider.

We also process limited technical data (such as your IP address) for the security and proper functioning of the website.

Why, and on what legal basis

Performance of the contract: to process your booking, send your ticket and give you access to the sailing.

Legal obligation: to comply with our tax and administrative retention duties.

Legitimate interest: to secure the website and prevent abuse.

Consent: where you give it, for example to receive information by email.

Sharing with third parties

We share your data only where necessary: with our payment provider (payments), our email service (confirmations and tickets) and our hosting partner. For bookings made through a partner or agent, the necessary data is shared with that partner.

Data-processing agreements are in place where required. We never sell your data.

Retention

Booking and accounting data is kept in line with the statutory tax retention period (7 years). Other personal data is not kept longer than necessary for the purposes above.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Send your request to info@moso-engineering.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
